During the last 20 years, wind energy in Chile went from having almost no presence, until May 2018, with 651 towers across the country generating 1,426 MW of energy (almost 5% of the national requirements). The inspection system through our RPAS or drones ensures the complete revision of the customer’s wind turbines, which allows the location of fault zones, avoiding breakage due to wear.

In addition, this format is a safe tool, both for the company and for its workers, since it doesn’t involve the actions of workers climbing the towers. Thus, the trained team of IGNOUS is responsible for maneuvering the drone in any of the necessary points to obtain accurate and detailed information, in a much shorter period of time than with the current methods.
